Michael J. Sullivan, M.D., is the former Director of the Division of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery in the Department of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery at The Ohio State University. Dr. Sullivan continues to hold an adjunct position in the department of facial plastic and reconstructive surgery. He and his wife, Dr. Christine M. Sullivan, co-founded in 1996 the Sullivan Centre, which is the only free-standing ambulatory surgery center dedicated to cosmetic surgery in central Ohio.

Dr. Michael J. Sullivan is a native of Marion, Ohio. He received a Bachelor's of Science Degree from the University of Toledo before graduating Magna Cum Laude from The Ohio State University College of Medicine in 1980. He later completed a residency in Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery at the University of Michigan in 1986, where he remained on the faculty through 1990.

Dr. Michael J. Sullivan is Board Certified in both Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery and Facial Plastic Surgery. He currently limits his practice to facial cosmetic surgery. He is a member of the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and has served as this organization's Chairman of Continuing Medical Education for the past six years.

Dr. Michael J. Sullivan has authored a classic head and neck reconstruction textbook and has an extensive bibliography of published textbook chapters and scientific articles relating to facial cosmetic and reconstructive surgery. He is frequently asked to speak to medical groups around the country. Dr. Michael Sullivan was honored by his peers to be included in the 1995, 1996, 1998, and 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006,2007,2008 Best Doctors in America, published by Woodward and White, Inc.
