The Sullivan Centre philosophy is prescriptive skin care. All of our skin care patients are seen by Dr. Sullivan prior to receiving any treatment. He will suggest medically proven products and services. Our aesthetician, Dina Maynard, will serve as your concierge through this process. She specializes in microdermabrasion, ultrasound, and various facial peels. She works directly with Dr. Sullivan when it comes to light therapy, skin resurfacing, and tightening procedures. By combining experience, relaxation, and medicine, The Sullivan Centre skin care team strives to make each patient experience a unique one. We make beautiful things by combining art and science.

What is the difference between a facial and a prescriptive facial?
The products used for a prescriptive facial are determined by Dr. Sullivan during your consultation. Who better than a Board certified facial Plastic Surgeon to prescribe the products that will be the most beneficial in addressing your concerns? Our Skin Care Expert, Dina Maynard, is thoroughly trained by Dr. Sullivan to address a multitude of skin condition from fragility following surgery, to teenage skin, to peri and post menopausal conditions.

What to expect before, during, and after your prescriptive facial:
Prior to the start of your facial, our skin care expert will walk you through an analysis of the current condition of your skin and explain each product. Under the direction of Dr. Sullivan, our skin care expert will recommend a treatment plan. Your focus will be on relaxing and enjoying the benefits of a prescriptive facial which include healthier, more youthful looking skin and protective treatments to prevent further damage from the elements. You will leave feeling refreshed and revitalized.

How often is a prescriptive facial needed?
Prescriptive Facials will be the most beneficial when performed on a regular basis. We call it preventative maintenance. Some patients choose to have their prescriptive facial weekly, some bi-monthly, and others monthly. Our skin care expert will customize a treatment plan that fits into your lifestyle.

Is there any downtime with a prescriptive facial?
There is no real downtime with a prescriptive facial. In most cases you can immediately re-apply makeup and continue with your normal routine. Dr. Sullivan does recommend that you wear sunscreen at all times following your facial.
